Tracy Vedda Studio of Dance opened in Westlake in 1985.  The studio offers classes in ballet~pointe~tap~ jazz/hip hop and preschool dance with levels from beginners thru advanced.  
All classes are personally taught by Ms. Vedda.

Tracy Vedda, Director, was a protege of the late Gina Saunders, her predecessor, since the age of four.  At the age of ten, while studying with Ms. Saunders, she was the recipient of a scholarship to the Harkness House of Ballet in New York City.

Continuing to study at the Saunders' studio, she was exposed to such professionals as Dick Blake and 
Robert Audy, naturally known teachers and choreographers, Cynthia Graham, former principal dancer with the Cleveland-San Jose Ballet Company and many others.

Prior to becoming principal teacher for Ms. Saunders, in 1978,
Tracy also taught classes at the West Shore Y, the Westlake Recreation Department,and Murton's Nursery and Kindergarten School.

With the retirement of Ms. Saunders in 1985, Tracy assumed directorship of the dance studio.  She has choreographed for community theatre, drama clubs, and has performed as a member of the "New Dance Society".  She has also appeared as a model in American Greetings' "Dreams of the Dance" calendars, 1991-1993.

More recently, along with choreographing for her recitals, Tracy has also choreographed performances for her students' appearances at Cleveland's Gund Arena/Cleveland Rocker Prime Time Performances (2000-2004), Cleveland Quiken Q Arena/Cleveland Cavalier Prime Time Performances (2004-2010), Award winning parade performances ,  KidsFest Performance at the Downtown Tower City Amphitheatre, Flash mob performances, and bridal party dances.

Ms. Vedda's teaching experience also includes Daycare, Pre-School, Parish School of Religion, and Elementary School Special Education Paraprofessional.

Tracy and her husband, Angelo, will be celebrating their thirty-ninth anniversary this summer and are parents of three:  Phillip, Kailin and Bobby.  Phillip and his wife, Kortney, are proud parents of two:  Jaxon and Jace.  Kailin is mother to Antonia who is an inspiring young dancer at the studio!  Bobby is a recent graduate with Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on Spanish.
